Your Key Responsibilities /n - Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parameter setting according to work order information /n - Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes /n - Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol /n - Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines /n - Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times /n /n Your Qualifications Required /n - High school diploma or GED equivalent /n - Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects /n - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English /n - Ability to operate basic machinery in a manufacturing environment /n - Good visual acuity /n - Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required /n - Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship /n /n Preferred - Experience working with power tools /n Our Offering /n - Salary: $20.00 /n - 2nd and 3rd shift premium available /n - Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid out in steps /n - Medical, dental and vision insurance /n - Life insurance and 401k eligible with up to 6% company match /n - Please see all our benefit offerings at Schaeffler Benefits /n /n As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
