following job description: The Business Unit Risk Advisor Leader –
Branch & Premier Banking is a first line of defense Business Unit
Risk leader accountable for risk advisory, governance execution,
and monitoring oversight for Branch and Premier Banking. This
leader serves as the lead risk partner for a major division within
a business unit, reporting directly to the Business Unit Risk
Executive. This role serves as a subject matter expert responsible
for effectively and proactively identifying, mitigating, and
managing risks within an assigned, complex line of business. This
position will be responsible for leading a team of risk
professionals to support the execution of enterprise risk programs
and focusing with the business on existing and emerging risks.
Responsible for supporting strong risk management practices in
alignment with the firm’s risk appetite and the assigned business
unit’s strategic & financial plan. This role provides subject
matter expertise in Branch and Premier Banking risk, leading teams
responsible for sales practices monitoring, BSA/AML monitoring,
operational monitoring, and issue management. The role partners
closely with business leadership to ensure risks are proactively
identified, monitored, escalated, and remediated, with risk
management embedded into frontline routines and strategic
initiatives. The Business Unit Risk Advisor Leader operates within
the firm’s Risk Appetite and represents Business Unit Risk in
interactions with senior leadership, risk committees, Audit,
Compliance, and regulators. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.

1. Engage in risk management activities with the line of business,
proactively identifying existing and emerging risks, evaluating the
significance of the risks, and providing support in managing
acceptance or mitigation of the identified risks. 2. Lead a team of
risk advisors responsible for executing the responsibilities of
various operations and enterprise risk programs in accordance with
the program requirements (I.e.: Risk control self-assessments,
issues management). 3. Assist business line leadership with
identifying, assessing, controlling, mitigating, and communicating
risks associated with business processes and decisions. Provide
oversight and governance to the assigned business unit regarding
its control environment. 4. Support the business in the development
of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators
(KRIs). 5. Provide risk management support and oversight for change
activities (both business and regulatory change). 6. Provide
oversight and support for open risk, audit and regulatory issues.
Evaluate the root cause, the corrective action plans and work with
business partners and advisor team to successfully implement and
document remediation. 7. Support the business for all audit and
regulatory exam engagements. 8. Communicate with assigned business
unit’s leadership regarding activities, trends, and events
pertaining to risk, regulatory, audit and loan review activities.
Promote various risk initiatives and their supporting metrics.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or science/academic
field, or equivalent education and related training or experience.
2. 12 years of risk management experience in financial services or
related field, and/or equivalent education, training and
experience. 3. 10 years of leadership experience. 4. Subject matter
expertise in assigned/specified line of business. 5. Broad risk and
regulatory knowledge with an emphasis on: Credit, Market,
Liquidity, Compliance, Operational, Reputation and Strategic Risks.
6. Strong leadership and communication skills. 7. Ability to think
critically and strategically, multi-task, and drive change. 8.
Strong quantitative, governance, and analytic abilities. 9. Ability
to provide effective challenge to senior leaders and business
partners. 10. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer
applications, such as Microsoft Office software products. 11.
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight. Preferred Qualifications
1. Deep knowledge of Branch and Premier Banking operations, sales
practices, and frontline execution 2. Experience with s ales
practices oversight, BSA/AML risk, and operational monitoring 3.
Strong understanding of consumer banking regulatory expectations 4.
Ability to synthesize monitoring results into actionable risk
insights 5. Proven ability to engage senior leaders, regulators,
