Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: SC Radiologic Technologist License preferred Certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required Must-Have: Equipment experience with GE Description: Position/Specialty: MRI Tech Shift: 5x8s, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM daily Daily caseload per tech: 9 On-call requirement: No Weekend requirement: No Floating between service lines: No Floating to sister facilities: No First-time travelers accepted: Yes Radiation badge requirement: No Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedule; approval can be requested prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Local radius: 60 miles RTO restrictions: All requests must be included at the time of submission Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Type of facility: Imaging Center Total staffed beds: Not specified Scrub color: Teal and Black Charting preferred: Epic Hurricane season: All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or extended assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
