Job Description:
This non-tenure track Professor of Practice position will
provide leadership, program, and project management, particularly
in collaboration with industry stakeholders in the construction
supply chain. The role includes teaching a two-semester, six-credit
course sequence, working directly with students as scheduled by the
school director. As an industry and outreach liaison, the incumbent
will facilitate communication and collaboration among the school,
advisory board, industry advisory council, and external partners,
current and future. Additionally, the position will work closely
with the Advancement team to identify and secure resources
supporting emerging school initiatives. Reporting Structure:
Reports to the School Director and works closely with the
Advancement Team, with a dotted line relationship to LINK. Required
Qualifications Master’s degree in a closely related field to the
position Significant experience working in the construction
industry Previous experience networking with industry partners
Demonstrated experience in program management Leadership and
management experience Marketing experience Experience working with
or serving on University Advisory Boards and/or Industry Boards of
Directors Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work
with sponsorships, fundraising, or related advancement experience
Experience working in a university environment and working
knowledge of university policy and procedures Experience with
university course development and administration Experience with
delivering training and credit or non-credit educational curricula
for industry Overtime Status Exempt: Not eligible for overtime
Appointment Type Restricted Salary Information Commensurate with
Experience Hours per week 40 as needed Additional Information The
successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction
