Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a
K-12 educational setting located in Blacksburg, VA. This position
offers the chance to work with diverse student populations across
all grade levels during the upcoming school year. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide speech and language therapy services to
students from kindergarten through 12th grade. - Develop
individualized treatment plans and conduct assessments. -
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational
professionals to support student progress. - Maintain accurate
records and documentation in compliance with school policies. -
Participate in meetings and professional development as required.
Qualifications: - Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
required. - Eligibility for SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or
holding an SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 caseloads is a
significant advantage. - Strong communication skills and ability to
work collaboratively within an educational team. Location:
Blacksburg, VA Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
