Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education
Teacher to support elementary or high school students in an
engaging academic environment in Hickory, NC. This full-time
contract role is available immediately and extends through May 27,
2026. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and testing
tailored to students individual needs - Develop, implement, and
monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) - Deliver
instruction aligned with EC General Curriculum and
Cross-Categorical special education - Collaborate with educators,
families, and specialists to support student growth - Manage a
caseload of elementary or high school students requiring special
education services Qualifications and Skills: - Valid certification
in Special Education - Experience with conducting assessments and
developing IEPs - Ability to work effectively within a school team
and communicate with parents and staff - Competence in managing
diverse learning needs including Cross-Categorical students -
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Location:
Hickory, NC Elementary School Setting Schedule: Full-time, Monday
through Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Duration: Contract position through the end of the current school
