  Responsible for designing, programming and commissioning control and automation systems.
  EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
  • Four (4) year degree or two (2) year degree and five (5) years experience or trade school and Ten (10) years experience.
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Computer experience - Excel, Word, Microsoft project.
  • Ability to work with and or teach others. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
    • Associate Degree or higher a plus ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
      • Designing, programming and commissioning control and automation systems.
      • Must be able to trouble shoot various automated production equipment.
      • Review and modify existing equipment as required to meet safety, quality and production requirements.
      • Troubleshoot control system upgrades of existing equipment and integration of new / existing equipment.
      • Electrical wiring, relay logic, control and safety circuits using electrical schematics.
      • Ensure work is completed in accordance with relevant codes and proper documentation.
      • Spear head / participate in Process Improvement Activities
      • Develop work instructions
      • Interface with engineering and maintenance on new automation systems.
      • Control panel builds and control machine rebuilds.
      • Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time. JOB EXPECTATIONS
