Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain Proofpoint solutions (Email Protection, Threat Response, Targeted Attack Protection, DLP, etc.)
Monitor and manage the Proofpoint environment to detect and respond to email-based threats, phishing attacks, malware, and spam
Manage Proofpoint policies, rules, filters, and quarantine systems
Collaborate with the SOC (Security Operations Center) and incident response teams to investigate and remediate email security incidents
Provide tuning and optimization to improve threat detection and reduce false positives
Assist with integrating Proofpoint with other security tools such as SIEM systems
Prepare regular reports and dashboards on email threat trends and system health
Stay current on evolving email threat landscapes and provide recommendations for continuous improvements
Provide user support, including releasing quarantined messages, troubleshooting email delivery issues, and educating employees on email security best practices
