Percentage of time spent on each duty:



1. Design & Analyze user specifications and requirements for the project:



Percentage time spent on this duty each day: 20%



--- Interacting with business internal stakeholders in understanding business requirements and



convert them into technical requirements.



--- Analyze user needs and Infrastructure requirements to determine feasibility of solution



approach, prepare high level design and provide estimations to business.



--- Architecting VMWare Solutions using ESXi, vCenter Server, vRealize Suite, vSAN, NSX.



--- Architecting Datacenter and Cloud Migrations using VMWare Cross vCenter Migration



Utility, VMWare-HCX, PlateSpin, Carbonite, Zerto, Dell RP4VM



--- Architecting Backup Solutions using IBM TSM4VE, Avamar, Veeam.



--- Architecting Disaster Recovery Solutions using Site Recovery Manager with vSphere



Replication and Site Recovery Manager with Storage Array Replication.



--- Architecting Infrastructure Design and Datacenter Solutions.



--- Implement Datacentre build with IBM Flex, VMWare VCE, VxRail, Dell UCS and Atos



Bullion Infrastructure.



--- Architecting Capacity Reports using vROPS.



2. Responsible for Infrastructure Support and Datacenter Migrations:



Percentage time spent on this duty each day: 40%



--- Implementing and maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments.



--- Supporting Identity and Access Management, networking, storage, compute



Infrastructure.



--- Implementation of Compute, Storage, Networking, Security.



--- Managing large scale Windows/Linux environments and Datacentres.



--- Automating infrastructure provisioning.



--- Evacuating Datacentre, Cloud Migrations including service discovery, assessment,



planning, execution, and operations.



--- Diagnosing, resolving and delivering root cause analysis for automatic alerts, Production



Configurations and incidents.



--- Identifying, investigating repeated issues and work with responsible support group.



--- Configuring ESXi Cluster with High Availability, Distributed Resource Scheduler.



--- Configuring Alerts on vCenter Server and Integrate with Monitoring Tools and Ticketing



Tools for Auto Generate Tickets based on Triggered Critical Alerts.



--- vCenter Server, ESXi hosts patching as per Security Compliance.



--- Upgrading Infrastructure: vCenter Server, ESXi, NSX, vSAN, vRealize Suite, SRM based



on End of Life Support and Infrastructure Enhancements.



--- Configure call home facility to send the information on alerts or events from the



Hardware to EMC Support.



--- Configure vRealize Automation and Orchestration to Integrate with Ticketing Tool for



Deploying the Virtual Machines, Reboot Virtual Machines, Increase vCPU, vMemory and



Storage Capacity.



--- Deploying the Virtual Machines using vRealize Automation.



--- Implementing Disaster Recovery and perform live Disaster for every quarter to ensure



backup is available for production environment.



--- Backup Configurations, schedule full backup and incremental, Restore from backups.



3. Ensure all the requirements met:



Percentage time spent on this duty each day: 20%



--- Providing Demos to all the stakeholders and business teams upon completion of critical



milestones in the project.



--- Maintaining the Infrastructure based services like Virtualization, Compute, Storage.



--- Configuring the alerts for new requirements when it comes to production environment.



--- Developing Cluster monitoring tools that would make the monitoring process easier.



--- Testing the new tools in Development environment before deploying into production.



--- Peer reviews and feedback are collected from the various stake holders for better quality



and implemented the same for future releases.



--- Writing and executing system Unit test cases, and test scripts of the project.



--- Build and develop application monitoring to make sure there is no service interruption



and alerts integration to alert the team about the status.



4. Deployments & Continuous production support:







Percentage time spent on this duty each day: 10%



--- Following Virtual Deployments with Orchestration, Cluster Configurations, Monitoring,



Backup and Utilization Capacity Reports.



--- Provide knowledge transfer sessions and handover of completed projects to support teams.



--- Provide Initial support to operations teams after Go-Live of the project.



5. Maintenance and Enhancement of the projects



Percentage time spent on this duty each day :10%



--- Actively participating in the daily SCRUM meetings to produced quality deliverable



within time.



--- Interact with users, and other project team members on daily basis to perform



development and pre-activities.
