Engineering Group Lead is responsible for technical and project
leadership within the Quality Engineering organization. The
engineer should oversee the team's technical workload, advise/
mentor junior engineers, and ensure that the team is progressing
appropriately in project work. They will also serve as a technical
expert when needed. Key Accountabilities Lead Mass Production and
New Model investigations related to Spec and Testing Serve as QE-PL
for complex projects Participate in department initiatives such as
budgeting, business plan, cost improvement, new model activity, to
gain or share knowledge, promote continuous improvement, and foster
engagement for the department Oversee daily group activity by
managing day to day operations and schedules Serve as technical
expert in area of responsibility, sharing knowledge formally and
informally with others Confirm test results before seeking
management approval Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum
Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in technical field, or
equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum
Experience 5 plus years verifiable engineering or testing
experience 2 plus years verifiable project leadership experience
Working Conditions Time is divided between office and production
areas In production area must be able to stand for extended period
of time Must be able to work flexible schedule including shifts and
weekends Must be able to work overtime as necessary to support
department/ plant needs Must be willing to travel less than 50% of
