Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with homeowners, and delivering a high-quality service experience from start to finish. The right candidate brings strong technical ability paired with clear communication, professionalism, and a genuine desire to build trust with customers in their homes. Responsibilities Perform service, repairs, and maintenance on residential HVAC systems. Diagnose heating and cooling issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Service, diagnose, and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality systems. Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations. Educate homeowners on system performance, efficiency improvements, and preventive maintenance in a clear and respectful manner. Build strong rapport with customers through professionalism, communication, and respect for their home and time. Complete required documentation, invoices, and service records accurately and timely. Maintain a clean and organized work area, company vehicle, and tools. Represent Ted’s with integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Requirements Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate and ask questions when needed. EPA certification required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment. Ability to safely perform the physical aspects of the role, with training, tools, and team support provided as needed.
