SunIRef:cr001 JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination of administrative, practice and business operations for assigned practices throughout a multi-county service area under supervision of the Director of Practice Operations. Collaborates with leadership to ensure efficient and effective operations are in place. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree with five years' experience in practice management and/or other related business management required. Master's degree preferred. *TMJ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Participates in the evaluation and development of processes that will improve operations within existing and newly acquired practices and supports delivery of efficient patient care services. 2. Develops and maintains a close working relationship with practice providers. 3. Promotes open lines of communication and provides mentoring to direct reports to ensure high employee morale and engagement. 4. Assesses the management, mentoring and leadership skills of practice managers to ensure operational goals and objectives are met. 5. Provides guidance in the development, implementation and evaluation of practice policies and procedures, standards of care, and patient education programs to achieve quality patient care. 6. Builds and maintains strong cross-functional team leadership and collaboration with key business partners to achieve financial and operational success. 7. Assists leadership with the development, implementation and evaluation of improvement initiatives that will enhance patient services and satisfaction. 8. Participates in the development and implementation of performance metrics and works collaboratively with leadership to ensure that requirements are met. 9. Prepares and presents statistical reports on established performance measures by utilizing business intelligence to develop recommendations used to drive decisions for improvement. 10. Collaborates with leadership to develop and facilitate initiatives to improve staff performance and job satisfaction. Supervises staff as assigned and completes performance reviews as needed. 11. Participates in the preparation and administration of budgets for assigned practices. 12. Works collaboratively with leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Makes recommendations for improvements as needed. This may include monitoring and preparing reports on employee compliance with regulatory requirements. 13. Participates in regular team meetings and continuous quality improvement activities. 14. Provides assistance, as needed, to onboard newly acquired practices with the installation of registration, scheduling, billing and electronic health record systems. Works closely with information systems, revenue cycle and medical record professionals to ensure system integration goes smoothly. 15. Demonstrates responsibility for personal development by participating in continuing education offerings and health system activities. 16. Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Practice Operations and/or Associate Vice President.
