FUNCTION: FINANCE - Commercial Finance (Traditional Categories)
LOCATION: Winston-Salem, NCThis role will play a key part in Marketing Investment strategy development and execution, ensuring the accuracy of financial forecasts and reporting, business cases and post implementation reviews, overseeing a strong internal control environment, and championing the company ethos. This position serves as a liaison between Finance, Consumer Marketing, and Senior Leadership. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that business partners across the commercial teams can count on to provide value-added financial support in driving long term brand success, sustainable revenue and margin growth. - - - -ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

  • Partner with stakeholders and provide strategic and financial guidance to cross functional business partners
  • Provide stakeholders with meaningful analytics and insights regarding Traditional Categories marketing investments
  • Provide support to the Traditional Category brand team for Quarterly and Annual Plans through business cases and financial modeling
  • Building financial models and P&Ls for business cases
  • Consolidation and understanding of Traditional Category's financial results
  • Identify business levers and recommendations that drive profitability
  • Develop business/operational metrics to provide key guidance to the organization
  • Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous department improvement
  • Communicate assumptions and sensitivities that may drive variability to leadership
  • Work closely with other departments to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Present and communicate to Leadership the forecasts, performance, and potential risks/opportunities of financial performance
  • Collaborate with business partners, and influence commercial decisions
  • Ensure a strong internal control environment exists surrounding Resource Allocation processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency within the Commercial Finance team
  • Coach, mentor and develop individual contributors on the team
  • Driving ad-hoc projects as required - -CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE? -
    • Do you have experience in a business partnering Finance role supporting commercial or Financial Planning and Analysis functions?
    • Do you have experience in resource allocation strategy?
      • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area.
      • 5-8+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or relevant area.
      • Experience in a business partnering Finance role supporting commercial or Financial Planning and Analysis functions
      • Experience in resource allocation strategy
      • Strong business acumen. Understanding market dynamics and demand patterns to help drive business decisions.
      • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts.
      • Ability to effectively work in a fast-pace and ambiguous environment.
      • Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to influence and secure cross-functional support
      • Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary.BENEFICIAL
        • CPA, MBA, MAC or international equivalent preferred
        • High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
        • Ability to tailor communication relative to the style and needs of others.

        • Prior experience within a CPG Company
