Who are we looking for?
As we continue on our journey, we are in need of a progressive and
visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial
aspects of our current 10 year plan and beyond. The CFO is a senior
member of our executive leadership team who serves as a business
partner to the CEO and executive team in the overall management of
the company. Reporting to the CEO, this role has the primary
responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and
controlling of the accounting, treasury and finance activities,
including budgeting, forecasting, strategic/long range business
planning and negotiations. The role also includes functional
management of the Accounting and Information Technology
Departments, as well as corporate administrative oversight,
regulatory compliance, external communications, authorization of
all legal commitments, real estate management, risk management and
general assistance to the Chief Executive Officer.
How you'll help grow the family:
Be a key player, decision-maker and have continual interaction with
the CEO/Ownership, executive team, as well as other leadership
within the company, as well as external advisors as needed.
Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to the CEO and
advise on long-term business, financial and administrative
strategies as a key strategic executive team member and company
fiduciary.
Be the subject matter expert on company financial matters and key
contributor in business discussions, impacts and initiatives.
Create/Direct/Approve policy and processes for AR,
Credit/Collections, AP and Fixed Assets.
Manage the processes for financial forecasting and planning,
budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial
reporting.
Develop, implement, and maintain accurate, timely and robust
systems for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting
and control.
Ensure system output is well-structured, reliable and easily
understood.
Monitor and assess on-going performance against company financial
objectives.
Oversee the coordination of financial reporting and the proper
filing of tax returns.
Actively monitor financial risks and ensure that risk mitigation
strategies are in place.
Provide monthly communications and required presentations to the
CEO.
Coordination of corporate consolidation in accordance with US GAAP
on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including annual audit by
outside CPA firm.
Manage Treasury, Financing, Cash Management, and Banking relations,
including day-to-day operating activities, as well as credit and
loan activities and reporting requirements.
Responsibility for the corporate costing methodology. Maintain the
standard cost accounting function integrity, including allocation
of corporate and plant overhead costs in establishing machine level
and product standard costs. Work closely with operations to ensure
costs are consistent and appropriate for the business and that they
comply with all appropriate accounting standards. Work closely with
cost accounting personnel in maintaining accurate product cost
standards and the updating of these costs at least annually for the
business plan.
Provide leadership, direction and management of the
Accounting/Finance and Information Technology teams, including
approval of related processes and procedures.
M&A activities, including due diligence, recommendations on
purchase negotiations, and acquired entity integration.
Develop and deploy enterprise wide ESG standards.
Establish corporate policy and procedures to ensure regulatory
reporting and internal control compliance in all areas of the
company.
Review, prepare and negotiate supplier, customer, service provider,
and Health, Property and Casualty insurance contracts and related
claims.
Establish and develop relations with external professional partners
in private and public sectors.
Assist sales executives by reviewing significant customer pricing
programs.
Oversee 401(k) Plan advisors and investment options on behalf of
participants, as fiduciary of the Plan.
Accountable to ensure that all data and protected information
always remains confidential and is available only to those who have
a need to know.
Ensure stewardship of financial resources- that they are used
wisely while protecting the assets of the corporation, to further
the purpose of the corporation and produce benefits commensurate
with the size of the expenditure, investment and the level of
risk.
Provide retrospective and projected business analysis to gain
insight into corporate decisions.
Provide leadership in the corporate strategic planning process and
its outcome,
Advise and assist others in their efforts to implement and accept
change,
Maintain an example of dedication, commitment, and integrity for

Responsibility for maintaining a competitive and cost-effective

What You'll Bring to the Family:
A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or another relevant
field is required; along with an MBA, CPA, or equivalent
experience.
Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role,
preferably within a company in the $75M - $100M revenue range.
Proven track record of successfully scaling companies.
In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management
practices.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Ability to strategize and solve problems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel and financial management software.
