Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Director of Platform.Position is seated in the cities listed on the req. This is a hybrid position.There is no Visa sponsorship or Visa transfers for this role.This leadership role oversees and executes Application support for Data Science and Application Security. It manages teams responsible for incident, change, problem management, alert management, vulnerability management, user support, and control management, including transformation. It also oversees a team supporting Application Security, including incident, change, and problem management.We seek a leader capable of driving operational efficiencies through automation of security controls and platform performance improvements. The candidate should possess strong technical skills to lead and mentor security engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.Experience with internally built applications on Linux and Windows platforms that integrate data from various security and IT tools is required. The role involves analytics and decision-making support for business at all levels, with exposure to Application Security Controls, Best Practices, and management of Application Security Tools Platform.In this role, you will:

• Manage a team of site reliability engineering managers and leads.
• Focus on delivering commitments aligned with enterprise strategic priorities.
• Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders.
• Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of software engineering practices.
• Provide operational support for critical cybersecurity platforms.
• Oversee software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions.
• Manage financial resources and strategic resourcing.
• Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders on risk initiatives.
• Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent.
• Lead project implementations and encourage innovation, including observability.
• Collaborate with and influence professionals at all levels.
• Lead teams to achieve objectives.
• Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, or industry forums.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for strategic leadership.
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development aligned with business objectives.Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience or equivalent.
• 4+ years of management or leadership experience.Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience or knowledge of Securiti AI, RSA Archer, Hadoop, Threadfix, AVR, BlackDuck, Checkmarx.
  • Experience with database, compute, middleware, and UI technologies.
  • Managing a production support organization.
  • Experience with ITIL.
  • Platform Management experience (on-premises, PaaS, SaaS).
