Job Description:
Develops applications, using Oracle PL/SQL, Amazon Web Services
(AWS) Cloud services, and ETL. Collaborates with stakeholders --
onshore and offshore -- across an Information Technology (IT)
organization to deliver new systems and software capabilities to
clients and customers. Establishes and documents coding best
practices to ensure projects meet architectural and software
guidelines. Ensures team productivity and project implementation by
unblocking issues, planning sprints, organizing the backlog,
driving efficiency, and ensuring tasks completion. Translates
strategic changes and enterprise resiliency initiatives into
business insights. Proactively partners with domain, product, and
chapter areas leaders to influence strategic decisions and
priorities for the enterprise. Primary Responsibilities: Relays client needs and requirements to ensure integration into
team deliverables. Provides guidance and support to engineering team members during
requirement and design sessions. Drives fee backed planning and the adoption of management
methodologies. Leads technology architecture discussions. Leads and implements technical architecture protocols on
projects. Collaborates with application teams, architects, and data
analysts to identify design proposals that meet business needs. Works cross functionally with team leads to ensure technical
roadmap alignment across the firm. Establishes development standards, practices, and monitoring
tools necessary to build high quality products. Selects tools, techniques, and approaches most appropriate for
high impact project issues. Supports key organizational strategies -- driving customer
satisfaction and building resilient, and reusable digital
capabilities. Defines output acceptance criteria based on business
requirements. Collaborates with key stakeholder teams to align with the
product strategy and multi-year roadmap. Removes blockers or impediments that prevent team progress. Identifies opportunities, develops strategies, and drives
application reuse and optimization across the product. Manages deliverables assigned to cross-functional teams,
vendors, and business resources. Manages the professional development of reports. Develops and manages the allocation of available resources,
project plans, and strategies. Oversees the delivery of high-impact software engineering
projects. Identifies and launches growth initiatives, manages and
facilitates cross-enterprise initiatives, and addresses difficult
operational issues. Leads the development and delivery of new product proposals with
clear functionality, user value, time to market, and development
requirements. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or
six (6) years of experience performing Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) data analysis and data warehouse design within an
investment products brokerage environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years
of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience
performing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data analysis and
data warehouse design within an investment products brokerage
environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) architecting, designing, and
building highly performant and complex online customer and
representative facing data platform, using Oracle, Aurora Postgres,
Cassandra, and DynamoDB; performing database virtualization, data
governance, and lineage using Manta; performing data cataloguing
using Alation; and reviewing data quality (using Delphix) and
privacy (using Oracle Redaction, IBM Optim, and Big Id). DE architecting, designing, and building highly secure,
reliable, resilient complex data platforms using Amazon Web
Services (AWS) Cloud services -- Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, and Glue;
and enabling real-time data movement between internal and external
systems -- Software as a Service (or SaaS) providers, including CRM
Salesforce -- using open-source tools (Kafka and Kafka
Connect). DE architecting, designing, and building best in class
analytical platforms, business intelligence reporting, and analytic
capabilities, using Oracle Exadata, Snowflake, Informatica,
QlikSense, UNIX, and Control-M Scheduler. DE designing and building Continuous Integration and Continuous
Deployment pipelines for infrastructure, data, and code across
technology stacks, using Jenkins, Liquibase, Concourse, UDeploy,
