Position Description: Supports the work of Agile Scrum team members by maintaining
product backlogs and facilitating Agile ceremonies -- stands ups,
retrospectives, and sprint and quarterly planning. Monitors team
performance through the teams dashboard using Agile tools.
Identifies continuous improvement opportunities to aid work output.
Works with end-users to coordinate product development and support.
Draws on in-depth knowledge of the business or function to propose
and deliver business unit-wide solutions to increase client
satisfaction and growth of the business. Researches and recommends
new technologies in support of the strategic direction of the
business unit. Primary Responsibilities: Ensures work is aligned with strategic business priorities and
road maps and measures performance through objectives and
metrics. Aligns team with strategic business priorities to increases
value and results for customers and the business. Removes impediments to deliver value to customers. Enables delivery of increased value in team results by
supporting and empowering chapter members. Collaborates with business partners to share insights,
knowledge, industry practices, and developments across the
organization. Researched and recommends new technologies in support of the
strategic direction of the business unit. Translates and incorporates business vision and objectives to
strategy recommendations at the functional level. Identifies and consults with internal and external technical
resources to produce cross-company strategic designs. Consults on the development and delivery of major technology
initiatives and deliverables for the business unit. Consults on the documentation of major technology
applications. Oversees the technical implementation of cross-divisional or
company architectural components. Initiates and drives project or strategy discussions with users
or external groups to resolve issues. Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives. Provides leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to
multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex
organization-wide projects. Provides guidance, training, and coaching to team members for
performance and career development. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, or a closely related field and six (6) years of
experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience
designing, developing, and providing production support to
multi-tiered healthcare benefits administration applications. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related
field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four
(4) years of experience designing, developing, and providing
production support to multi-tiered health care benefits
administration applications. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) influencing strategic backlog and
prioritization decisions related for product development by
partnering with IT Resource Managers, Architecture and Quality
Assurance teams, Product Owners, and business partners; and
aligning development team members across business units to ensure
the best utilization of talents -- mentoring a team of developers
in fundamental development based on Agile methodology. DE overseeing the development of policies, procedures,
standards, and strategies by participating in architecture, design,
and code review to improve process efficiency and quality. DE architecting, designing and developing Cloud-based enterprise
applications using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Java
technologies -- Spring REST ; and performing Object-Oriented
analysis and design throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
(SDLC) using data modeling within a relational database
environment. DE preparing technical and business artifacts used to
demonstrate progress and team productivity against a development
roadmap; presenting technical design and architecture for feature
development to stakeholders and senior management; connecting
product work, and program and portfolio management at scale to
provide real-time reporting across a development team using JIRA
