Job Description:

Duties: Develops database solutions to support the data needs of

multiple applications within an asset management environment. Cleanses

and loads data into facts and dimensions using Informatica workflows and

PL/SQL procedures. Optimizes ETL processes by tuning queries and

mappings. Codes complex database logic, including bulk operations,

partition exchange, and changing dimensions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for

multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information

Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)

years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience

developing PL/SQL database applications within an asset management

environment; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education

equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,

Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field

and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of

experience developing PL/SQL database applications within an asset

management environment.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and

implementing Data Warehouses solutions on Oracle’s Exadata platform,

including high-volume data movement using Informatica, Autosys, and

PL/SQL from operational data stores (ODS) to dimensional models; DE

applying Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices

to database releases, including automated deployments using Jenkins and

Urban Code Deploy (uDeploy); DE integrating reference and common data

into a single environment using a Master Data Management (MDM) and

Common Data Environment system; DE designing and implementing data

solutions on Cloud platforms -- Salesforce or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

-- including data movement to/from on premise environments.
