Qualifications:

• Must Possess a RN License
• Must have a national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC)
• Clinical experience in a skilled nursing setting is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process Job Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing knowledge of Negative Wound Pressure Therapy to apply dressings and manage patients care
    Works as part of a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care Follows up with patients after set up of negative wound pressure therapyEducate and maintain compliance on negative wound pressure therapy proceduresUses telephone, email, and fax for customer serviceComplies to HIPAA regulations and standards and always maintains strict confidentialityData entry and word processing skillsWorks independently with minimal supervisionAssists Customer Service as needs arise.Maintains professional, clean, and conservative appearanceCommunicates clearly with all customersRecognizes unethical or fraudulent billing and follows appropriate protocolsParticipates in company educational programs (minimum 6 hours per year)Physical Demands: The wound care nurse will be required to travel to clinical and home environments and must have a valid driver's license. -Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. - - Powered by JazzHR
