Job SummaryStudent Loan Forgiveness - Not-for-profit PSLF eligible employer (Public Service Loan Forgiveness)$50K sign-on bonusRelocation Allowance, Employer Funded Pension Plan,combination of 8, 10, 12 hours shifts with call (1/14 days)Full time CRNA opportunity available at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Must possess skills to administer general/regional anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care to ASA Class I, II, III, IV and V patients undergoing invasive diagnostic or surgical procedures. Cases consist primarily of orthopedics, endoscopy, general surgery and some trauma. No cardiac or Neuro. Graduate of Professional School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia required. Good interpersonal and communication skills essential. Current Virginia RN and Practitioner licensure with Virginia State Board of Nurse Examiners required. ACLS/PALS certification needed (Training available at Carilion Clinic). Graduate of a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA) accredited school of nurse anesthesia education.Licensure/Certification:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner-Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Virginia. Current certification or recertification as an active, practicing nurse anesthetist as granted by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
