Job Description:
The Respiratory Therapist III provides specialized respiratory
care across all age groups, performing assessments, therapies, and
equipment management in accordance with physician orders and
protocols.
Administers therapies, monitors patient progress, and responds to
emergencies, including rapid response and code situations.
Conducts blood gas analysis, manages ventilators, and assists in
procedures like bronchoscopy and intubation.
Requires a completed accredited Respiratory Care program, 3+ years
of experience, and appropriate licensure and certifications (RCP,
BLS, ACLS, NRP).
Demonstrates strong communication, organizational skills, and
professionalism, with cross-training and leadership abilities
preferred.
