$4 Shift differential (2nd shift & evenings), $1 shift differential (weekends)

Department/Unit Summary


Our postpartum/nursery unit has 11 rooms with a 1:6 (3 couplets) patient ratio. Our nurses in this department care for postpartum moms, newborns, post op GYN patients, and occasional antepartum patients (such as hyperemesis or pyelonephritis). Additionally, these nurses attend deliveries, provide 1:1 care for infants requiring additional support and prepare infants for transfer when a higher level of care is required.

Qualifications:


Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred). Additional requirements include:






American Heart Association Basic Life Support






Experience in clinical area preferred
