required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: The
position available is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the
Progressive Care Unit. This is a 13-week assignment with night
shifts. The shift hours are from 18:45 to 07:15. Orientation will
consist of 24 hours. Candidates must be flexible with start dates.
The unit assignment will be determined after clinical approval.
Ratios in the Progressive Care Unit are currently 1:5, with a goal
of 1:4. Travelers are expected to float as needed within their
acuity. All candidates must be willing to work at least one holiday
per assignment, with the exception of winter holidays where two
holidays are required. Compliance documents will be due the
Wednesday prior to the Monday start. Candidates who reside within a
specific mileage from the facility are considered local and subject
to limitations on assignments. Return travelers must have been
absent for at least one year before reapplying for a traveling
position. Please note that travelers who have worked for a
specified period are not allowed to return for another assignment
without a designated break. Modules are required and must be
completed within the first 24 hours. The facility allows allotted
hours for orientation modules and Epic training. Modules may be
completed before starting or during orientation. Time spent in
modules will be recorded and paid upon receipt of approved
hours.
