Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available in Kannapolis, NC. This contract role supports evaluations, IEP services, and supervision of COTAs within a flexible, part-time schedule for the current school year, with potential for renewal. The position does not require carrying an independent caseload. Key Qualifications: Active state OT license is mandatory. Proven experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist. Skilled in conducting evaluations and assessments for school-aged children. Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborative team participation. Reliable transportation to school sites. Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility. Location: Kannapolis, NC (School sites to be determined) Responsibilities: Perform occupational therapy evaluations supporting students educational needs. Collaborate in IEP meetings and documentation to help develop appropriate accommodations and therapy plans. Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs to ensure quality service delivery. Support and assist an existing solo OT in managing school-based therapy responsibilities. Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies.
