Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Hickory, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,390 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Hickory, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekdays with minimum every-other-weekend requirement. Option to flex to 4x12 shifts when needed or available. Overtime billed after 48 hours. Highlights: 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting Combined adult and pediatric emergency care with approximately 160 visits per day 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts for optimal patient care delivery Meditech EMR system with experience preferred but not required Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams Local candidates welcome to apply Requirements: Active North Carolina RN license or pending with clearly stated ETA Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; 3 years preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all must be via American Heart Association) CPI/CIC certification preferred; can be obtained onsite for assignments extending beyond 3 months Proficiency in triage, IV starts and maintenance, phlebotomy, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and CVA care COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Willingness to float within the hospital as needed Completion of lab work within 72 hours of contract signing Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Emergency Department role offers the chance to work in a high-volume environment where you'll utilize your full scope of emergency nursing skills across diverse patient populations.
