Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Technologist Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts (unit cannot accommodate 3x12 schedules) • Must have previous Siemens experience required • Conduct procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history using professional methods • Obtain CT images per protocols and perform multi-planar and 3D reconstruction • Administer oral and IV contrast to adult and pediatric patients following protocols • Establish intravenous lines and follow safe injection procedures • Maintain thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images to various systems • Work with EPIC EMR system and verify image transmission • Complete, modify and cancel orders in timely manner • Maintain clean and orderly work environment • Precept new employees and students • Must be registered with American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible • Advanced certification in CT required • Must maintain current competency in HCP BLS • Completion of accredited educational program in Radiological Science required • Registry eligible candidates must provide copy of diploma from accredited program Facility: This major academic medical center is a leading healthcare institution that provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services including state-of-the-art CT technology.
