Job Description:
What We Offer Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is seeking an
inpatient psychiatrist to join our team! Primary position will be
on the inpatient unit with periodic floating to the medical units
and emergency department in a Consult Liaison capacity. Opportunity
Highlights: Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned
patients on our 40-bed adult unit 7on/7off schedule Psychiatrists
will have access to a full spectrum of care options for individuals
with treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders ranging from
child/adolescent to geriatric age groups Candidate Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry Responsibilities &
Duties: Patient population: 18 for acute care, with inclusion of
geriatric psychiatry Complete daily rounding and timely
documentation on assigned patients Collaborative approach with
multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing,
