Raleigh General Hospital Beckley, WV Urgent Need: October 2025
November 2025 Raleigh General Hospital, part of LifePoint Health,
is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional
Cardiologist to provide locum call coverage this month. This is a
high-priority vacancy with temporary privileges available for quick
onboarding. Assignment Highlights Dates Needed: Oct 4 (7a) Oct 7
(7a) Oct 20 (7a) Nov 1 (7a) Coverage Type: Call Only (STEMI call
consults) Practice Setting: Inpatient only Call Type: Beeper
Response Time: 30 minutes Orientation: Day prior to first shift
(varies with MediTech familiarity) Other Cardiologists Onsite: Yes
Support Staff: 7 RNs, 8 techs (call team: 3 RNs 1 tech) Facility &
Practice Details Facility: Raleigh General Hospital (Level III
Trauma) Cath Lab: 2 labs; locum volume varies (0 few cases/week)
Exam Rooms: 3 Admissions: Required Rounding: Both consults and
inpatient follow-ups EMR: MediTech Candidate Requirements
Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional
Cardiology Licensure: Active WV license or IMLC eligible
Supervision: No APP or resident supervision required Travel &
Lodging Nearest Airports: BKW (Raleigh County Regional) CRW (Yeager
Airport Charleston, WV) Lodging: Courtyard by Marriott, Beckley, WV
