For adults, services include internal and family medicine, annual physicals, preventive care, sick visits, immunizations, chronic illness management, women’s health care, and diagnostic tests like lab work and X-rays. For children and adolescents, care includes well-child visits, routine checkups, physicals, immunizations, and management of conditions like asthma, allergies, and diabetes. Clinic Location and Hours: Open 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday Float-Pool (Travel position) What you will do: Clinical Responsibilities: - Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed by the doctor and maintain records. - Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of a nurse or doctor. - Follow the doctor's orders and nursing care plan for patient care. - Report patient responses to care to a nurse for evaluation and adjustments to the care plan. - Assist other healthcare staff in delivering patient care. - Help doctors and nurses with diagnostic procedures. - Assess nursing care, patient responses, and prioritize nursing tasks. Administrative Responsibilities: - Help develop and implement policies to ensure patient comfort and safety and participate in creating new policies. - Contribute to maintaining the care environment, including equipment and supplies. - Identify and assist in improving clinical and operational performance. - Assist in managing supplies and equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the charge nurse. - Participate in training programs and help train new staff. - Perform other related duties as needed. What you will need: Education - Work requires graduation from an approved or accredited Practical Nurse program. Experience - No experience required. Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification - A current North Carolina LPN license or a compact LPN license is required to begin work while pursuing permanent NC licensure.
