Registered Nurse (RN) | Rehab Location: Salem, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,002 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Salem, Virginia, 24153! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: VA License Certifications: BLS Description: General Information: The unit has a total of 35 beds and patient ratios range from 5-7:1. Staffing includes techs based on census, usually 2-4 available. The type of equipment includes vitals machines, IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanners. Documentation is done using Meditech. Scheduling requires 12-hour shifts with every other weekend worked. Floating may occur to other medical-surgical departments. Rehab experience is preferred for this role. Must have medical-surgical or PCU experience. Advanced skills are not required. Procedures performed on the unit include medication administration (IVs, PICC, PEG tube), bladder scans, tracheostomy care, tube feeding, Foley catheters, bladder irrigation, and blood administration. Dress code consists of solid navy blue or white scrubs. Additional Information: This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physicians, and neuropsychology.
