are seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist for a 120-day locum
tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Jan 19, 2026. This
opportunity involves 24-hour, in-house shifts with availability
required for nights and weekends. The assignment is based at a
regional perinatal center with a busy, high-acuity NICU
environment. Job Details Location: Virginia Facility Type: Regional
Perinatal Center Start Date: Jan 19, 2026 LOA: 120 days Provider
Type Needed: Neonatologist Schedule: 24-hour, in-house shifts;
nights and weekend availability only Responsibilities and Duties
Provide care in a 60-bed Level-IIIB NICU with approximately 625
annual admissions and an average daily census of 36 Manage infants
requiring high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy
Collaborate with pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists,
including maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric surgery Participate
in the care of neonates from a patient population of approximately
3,100 annual deliveries Ensure compliance with hospital protocols
and quality standards Additional Information Active VA medical
license required Board Certification in Neonatology required Copy
of NPDB self-query report required Basic Life Support (BLS)
