2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and

(6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Experience: 2 years in Labor and Delivery
License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS
Must-Have: Experience with L&D and the ability to catch and
transition infants after delivery. Floating is required to sister
units. Every other weekend availability as needed. Description: The
position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Candidates
should have a minimum of two years of Labor and Delivery
experience. Experience with high-risk patients is preferred. The
patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:1 or 1:2. This role involves
providing care for neonates, adolescents, and adults. The hospital
has a daily census of around three patients. The unit includes
eight beds. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory
services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, and pharmacy.
Candidates should possess skills in recognizing and treating
abnormal fetal heart rate patterns and circulating for C-sections.
The facility requires COVID-19 vaccination and has a mandatory flu
vaccination policy with medical or religious exemptions. Travelers
should be aware that during hurricane season, emergency response
assignments may be required. All requests for time off must be
submitted with the application. Candidates must have an active RN
