Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Pulaski, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Pulaski, Virginia, 24301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have experience in cardiac, medical, and surgical procedures. Description: This position is for the Medical Surgical/Tele unit. The unit has 36 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1. Staff roles include monitor techs and techs who may rotate as needed. Equipment used includes Stryker beds, phones, and headsets for effective communication. Documentation is performed using Meditech. Scheduling requires every other weekend and some holidays. Floating may occur if census drops. Patient experience initiatives include hourly rounding and participation in daily huddles. The facility has received recognition for performing in the top 10 percent of the organization. New equipment is available including beds and vital sign machines, as well as a vein finder. This unit offers great staffing ratios and acuity-based assignments.
