Cath Lab Tech Location: Salisbury, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,706 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS Must-Have: - IR Experience (90% of cases) - Skills: Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry - Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit may result in a cancel and DNR. Techs start directly on the unit on Mondays until they have completed their training. Assist the provider while performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub and circulate for IR and Cath Lab procedures. Medication administration is performed by RN only. Expect urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs. IR callback time is determined based on procedure type. The call team consists of three staff members, including one RN. Additional coverage may be required to meet departmental needs. This is rotated equitably among all staff members. Weekend requirement is every third weekend. Patient age group includes adults and geriatrics. Primary diagnoses include vice implants such as PPM and ICD. Assist provider with diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Special equipment includes GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, and various specialized systems. Interdisciplinary support is involved in patient care. Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby facilities based on skill set and census. Candidate should be prepared to handle a combination of IR, cardiology, vascular, and EP procedures. Compliance with a fatigue policy that limits working no more than five days in a row and/or 60 hours in a week is required.
