find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28602!
Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – North Carolina Start
Date: February 16, 2026 Location: North Carolina Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 night
shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekdays with minimum every other
weekend; holidays required. Option to flex to 4x12 shifts when
needed or available. Overtime billed after 48 hours. Highlights:
13-week assignment in a busy Emergency Department with
approximately 160 visits per day 4:1 patient ratio across all
shifts providing quality patient care Combined adult and pediatric
emergency care including trauma, stroke, and critical interventions
Meditech EMR system (experience preferred but not required)
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy,
respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
Local candidates welcome; travel experience required Requirements:
Active, valid state RN license (must be clean with no disciplinary
actions) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
required; 3 years preferred Previous travel nursing experience
required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all must be through
American Heart Association) CPI/CIC certification preferred (can be
obtained on-site for assignments longer than 3 months) Proficiency
in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy,
blood product administration, phlebotomy, and isolation precautions
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
