Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for full-time Speech-Language Pathologists
(SLPs) to serve K-12 student populations in a dynamic school
environment in Blacksburg, VA. This position is ideal for licensed
SLPs, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those
holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credentials,
seeking a rewarding role supporting diverse school-age caseloads.
Responsibilities include: - Providing speech and language therapy
services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. -
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on
student assessments. - Collaborating with educators,
administrators, and families to support student communication
goals. - Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in
compliance with school policies and state regulations. -
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing
to student progress evaluations. Qualifications and desired
experience: - Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CFY or CCC preferred). -
Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12. -
Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children and
adolescents. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
engage effectively with students, staff, and families. Position
details: - Location: Blacksburg, VA. - Full-time (37.5 hours per
week). - Multiple openings available, including for VOCO SLP roles.
