Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,765 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - PCU Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 18 months of PCU experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with patients with tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation, temporary pacemakers, and cardiac drips. Description: RN - PCU position available for a qualified professional. This role is in a 36-bed unit with an average census of 36 patients. A variety of patient diagnoses are encountered, including COPD, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, renal failure, sepsis, and others. Patient ratios are 1:3-4 for RNs and 1:9 for CNAs. The unit offers support staff including CNAs for patient care, as well as a dedicated case manager and clinical nurse specialist. The available technology includes EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems. Floating to other facilities may be required within the region based on practice needs. Candidates should possess strong skills in the care of trached and vented patients, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and wound care.
