working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Charlotte,
North Carolina, 28204! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a level
3 or 4 NICU is required. License: A valid nursing license is
required. Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years
experience in a level 3 or 4 NICU. - Ventilator management
experience. - Experience with various neonatal diagnoses and
procedures. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and
cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on
unit could possibly result in a cancellation. The unit accepts
13-week contracts. Shifts consist of 36 hours only. This position
requires 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. RTO allowed is 7
days max. Call requirement is not mandatory. Floating to pediatric,
PICU, or nursery caring for infants up to 12 months is required.
Weekend commitment includes 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays
over a 6-week period. Patient diagnoses include premature infants,
surgical infants, and hypoxic injury cases. This unit employs
various special procedures, including therapeutic hypothermia and
nitric oxide therapies. Special equipment includes Tecotherm,
BCPAP, Ram NC, and Servo Vents. Charting is performed using the
EPIC system. Scheduling is self-scheduled as per unit needs.
Patient ratios typically range from 2 to 4. Candidates must be
comfortable floating with no restrictions. Travelers will adhere to
fatigue policies, not working more than 5 days in a row or
exceeding 60 hours in a week. Modules must be completed prior to
