Job Description Job Description Description: Position Summary The Outpatient Therapist provides individual, family, and/or group therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns. The therapist works collaboratively with clients, families, and an interdisciplinary treatment team to support emotional well-being, symptom reduction, and overall functioning in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based therapeutic approaches Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing treatment planning Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Comfortable using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and data review Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, schools, and other community resources as appropriate Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and required trainings Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and state and federal regulations Requirements: Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field Licensed or license-eligible (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent, depending on state requirements) Experience providing therapy to children and/or adults with mental health diagnoses preferred Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices Strong communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills Ability to manage a caseload and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Preferred Skills Experience working with diverse populations Familiarity with outpatient or community mental health settings Bilingual skills a plus (if applicable) Ability to navigate EHR systems to document service provided Work Environment Outpatient clinic setting May include in-person and/or telehealth services
