28277! Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Critical
Care Unit – North Carolina Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location:
Charlotte, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 -
07:15), 36 hours per week Highlights: Intermediate Critical Care
Unit specializing in DKA, Sickle Cell, Sepsis, Respiratory
Distress, Pneumonia, Heart Failure, and Stroke care Patient ratio
of 1:4 with opportunity to function as Rapid Response RN Epic EMR
system with self-scheduling that is balanced by staffing
coordinator 36-hour orientation provided; specialty equipment
includes BiPAP, CPAP, and OptiFlow At least 4 weekend shifts
required per 6-week schedule Travel nurses welcome; first-time
travelers accepted with appropriate ICU experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with recent ICU experience
strongly required Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact
state) Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS
preferred Epic charting system experience required Proficiency in
IV starts, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip titration, feeding
tube management, heparin protocols, PCA administration, and rapid
response team utilization Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
Comfortable floating to Med-Surg units as needed (1:6 ratio) Flu
