Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant position is available within a K-12 public school setting in Hope Mills, NC. This contract role spans the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 13, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027. The position involves working on-site five days a week, Monday through Friday, for 37.5 hours per week, serving students across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy assistance to students requiring support to enhance their educational performance. Collaborate with school therapists, educators, and families to develop and implement individualized strategies. Manage a caseload of K-12 students, focusing on improving their motor, sensory, and functional skills within the school environment. Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant school and state policies. Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist Assistant license in North Carolina is required. Experience working with school-aged children in a therapeutic or educational setting is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Location: On-site position based in Hope Mills, North Carolina.
