Key Responsibilities Manage daily unit operations in the Director’s absence, ensuring adequate staffing and resources. Lead recruitment, hiring, staff evaluation, orientation, and competency development. Develop and maintain unit standards, fostering open communication across departments. Facilitate orientation programs for new employees, students, and volunteers. Coordinate efficient patient care across multidisciplinary teams. Requirements Diploma/ADN required; BSN preferred or currently enrolled. Active VA RN license or compact eligible. AHA BLS required; TNCC, ACLS, PALS within 1 year.
