Locum Tenens Opportunity: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician in North Carolina We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 13-month locum tenens assignment near Carthage, North Carolina. This full-time role offers a well-structured schedule, collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on women???s healthcare in the community. Position Overview Start Date: October 20, 2025 Duration: 13 months Schedule: Monday ??? Friday: 8:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM C-Section Days: Start at 7:30 AM Weekend Call: 1:4 rotation, Friday 8:00 AM ??? Sunday 8:00 AM Weekday Call: 2 days on, 2 days off Call Requirements: Includes night call, call back, and 24-hour call Patient Population: Women ages 16???65 EMR: Epic Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled C-sections and GYN surgeries Provide full-spectrum OB/GYN care to a diverse patient base Collaborate closely with Certified Nurse Midwives and fellow physicians Interpret first-trimester ultrasounds and manage OB/GYN emergencies Qualifications License: Valid North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology DEA Certification: Required Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred Clinical Skills: Experience working with CNMs Skilled in ER GYN and first trimester OB care Proficiency in reading OB ultrasounds preferred Vaccination: Must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine mandates If you're passionate about women???s health and meet the qualifications, we invite you to apply and learn more about this meaningful locum tenens opportunity.To apply, please call us at 404-400-3373 or email us at recruiter@mdstaff911.com and reference job j-291958.
