Carilion School of Medicine Roanoke Virginia Carilion Clinic, an
academic medical center that provides world class care to our

knowledge and treatments has the following opportunities available
(3). Clinical Psychologist - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation,
this position is split as follows: 60% Physical Medicine &
Rehabilitation ( Brain Injury patients) 40% Department of
Psychiatry and will enhance access for psychological service
delivery for traumatic brain injury (TBI), cognitive, and
neurological conditions. Clinical Psychologist - Pediatric
Development, experience working with young children (ages 3-6),
particularly those who may have autism spectrum disorder (ASD),
Strong understanding of autism and early childhood development,
experience conducting diagnostic assessments, including the ADOS
(Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), proficiency in
administering and interpreting cognitive (IQ) and academic
achievement testing. This role plays a key part in supporting early
identification and intervention planning for children with
developmental and behavioral health needs. Clinical Child
Psychologist, experience and ability to treat children and
adolescents who present with trauma and safety concerns,
development delays, autism, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
QUALIFICATIONS Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an APA
accredited graduate school required. Experience: Two years clinical
experience which may include the year of internship required. The
second year must be post-graduate and include supervision by a
licensed Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist. Licensure,
certification, and/or registration: Licensed by Virginia by the
Board of Medicine as a clinical psychologist or by the Board of
Psychology as a Psychologist (Clinical), or in West Virginia by the
Board of Examiners of Psychologists required. Must have
de-escalation training successfully completed within four months of
hire and then maintained annually going forward when working in the
inpatient environment. Other Minimum Qualifications: Meets
credentialing requirements. Ability to work cooperatively and
professionally with physicians and other health care providers.
Must have a commitment to continuing education. Our team of
