Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A professional
occupational therapy role is available for licensed OTs and COTAs
to provide essential support within multiple K-12 schools in
Danville, VA. This travel position requires working with students
across various schools located within a five-mile radius, offering
a dynamic and engaging environment for therapists specializing in
school-based interventions. Responsibilities include: Delivering
occupational therapy services to K-12 students to enhance their
educational experience. Collaborating with school staff and
families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Managing caseloads efficiently while traveling between schools in
the division. Documenting student progress and maintaining
compliance with state and school regulations. Participating in team
meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary approaches to
student support. Qualifications: Active OT license in the state of
Virginia. Certification as either an Occupational Therapist (OT) or
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based
experience. Ability to travel between multiple schools within the
division. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to supporting students developmental and educational
needs. Position Details: Four openings available: 2 Occupational
Therapists and 2 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Start
Date: ASAP through 5/29/26. Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week, 5
days per week. Location: Danville, Virginia (travel between schools
