Job Description:
The Delta Companies, a distinguished leader in healthcare
staffing in Texas, is seeking a dedicated Hematology / Oncology
Physician to join our dynamic team. This position involves
diagnosing and treating patients with blood diseases and cancer.
The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, innovative care,
participate in groundbreaking research, and contribute to our
commitment to excellence in healthcare services. Examine, diagnose,
and treat patients with blood diseases and cancer. Develop
treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care,
and professional practice guidelines. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to plan or modify treatment approaches.
Engage in clinical research to discover new treatment protocols.
Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment
options, and preventative care. Participate in continuing
education, seminars, and professional organizations to keep abreast
of the latest developments in Hematology and Oncology. Proficiency
in oncology and hematology protocols. Strong analytical and
diagnostic skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to a varied
audience. Ability to handle a high degree of responsibility and
coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with
electronic health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Board Certified/Eligible in both
Hematology and Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Valid state medical license.
