Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and NIHSS preferred Must-Have:
MS/Tele and Telemetry experience required Experience with acutely
ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients Description: The role
requires management of acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic
patients. Candidates will be expected to handle a diverse range of
diagnoses including acute and chronic respiratory illnesses,
post-operative conditions, diabetes, renal failure, and more.
Telemetry experience is essential, as patient monitoring will be a
significant part of the role. The nurse will be required to manage
various IV medications and potential emergencies. Candidates should
demonstrate proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry
monitoring. Flexibility with scheduling is important, including
rotation for weekends and holidays. Traveling nurses may be
required to float to different facilities within the network as
necessary. Compliance with mandatory training and assessments prior
to the start of the assignment is required. Successful candidates
should be prepared for a pass/fail EKG exam during the compliance
process. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work
effectively as part of a team are essential. Requirements Required
