Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated RN (Registered Nurse) for our
Emergency Department in Christiansburg, ensuring high-quality
emergency care in alignment with HCA's mission to improve human
life. This essential role involves providing critical nursing
interventions in a dynamic emergency setting, managing patient
care, and supporting both patients and their families in severe
health crises. Provide immediate medical attention and nursing care
to patients in emergency situations. Assess patient health problems
and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans. Maintain
medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or
disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and
disease prevention. Collaborate with a team of healthcare
professionals to share expertise and knowledge. Excellent critical
thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively in high pressure,
fast-paced environments. Advanced knowledge of emergency care
procedures and protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state RN license. BLS/CPR
certification with the American Heart Association or American Red
Cross. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred.
