As we prepare for opening, we are building a talented team of clinical and non?clinical professionals who are passionate about delivering high?quality, patient?centered emergency care. /n This is an opportunity to join a brand?new team, contribute to a positive workplace culture from day one, and help shape the patient experience in a modern, advanced emergency care environment. /n As part of the team at our new Indian Land Free?Standing ER, you will: /n • Work in a newly constructed, modern emergency department equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology /n • Provide prompt, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of emergent conditions /n • Collaborate with experienced physicians, nurses, and support teams dedicated to excellence in emergency services /n • Help establish workflows, culture, and best practices as part of a new location launch /n • Make a meaningful impact in a rapidly growing community with increasing access to quality healthcare /n We are seeking Respiratory Therapist (RT) who are committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and serving our community. /n /n Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care given to inpatients and outpatients to patients of all age populations at Piedmont Medical Center requiring respiratory therapy services. /n - Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system /n - performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers /n - Provides respiratory care to patients. /n - Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. /n - Other related duties as assigned. /n Required: /n /n - Education: /n /n - Graduate of Accredited and Approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program /n - Associate degree required. /n /n - Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: /n /n - Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical Examiner’s office. /n - CRTT required (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). /n - American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire. /n - American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certifications required within orientation period. /n - NRP certification required for NICU trained therapists /n /n /n /n Preferred: /n /n - Experience: 2 to 5 years of job-related experience preferred. /n - Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: RRT preferred (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) /n Tenet South Carolina Job ID 2603001090.
