Radiation Therapist Location: Monroe, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,606 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40, varies between 6:30am - 7:30pm Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years as a Radiation Therapist License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-T Must-Have: - Proficient in the use of Varian Linac IX - Comfortable working with inpatient populations - Leadership support available Description: The Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering radiation treatment to patients with cancer. Patients may be both inpatient and outpatient. Travelers will not routinely work in CT Sim. Experience with cancer diagnoses is crucial. The average number of patients per day is approximately 35 using the specified equipment. Department culture is family-oriented and team-focused. Three therapists typically work per shift, sharing responsibility for patient care. Weekend rotations and holiday expectations are not required, providing a balanced work-life environment. Scheduling will consist of variable 8-hour shifts within the specified time frame. Traveling therapists may float to sister facilities if required.
